Purpose: This course is design to provide offshore personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to take of themselves and others in sea survival situations and to participate to the maximum extent in their own rescue.
Pre-requisite: There are no pre-requisite for this course Course Content:
- Survival equipment
- Signaling device
- Method of rescue
- Methods of tertiary escape
- Rescue by helicopter
- Water entry
- In water procedures
Certification: Barron International will issue Certificate of Training in Basic Sea Survival for successful participants (valid for 4 years)
Duration: 1 day
Method of Training: Combined theory and practical completed with assessment
Maximum participants: 16 persons
