Purpose: This course is design to provide passengers and aircrew with the knowledge and skills necessary to react to and survive a helicopter ditching. To be able to care for themselves in a sea survival situation.
Pre-requisite: There are no pre-requisite for this course Course Content:
- Helicopter safety
- Aircraft emergency
- Ditching procedures and drills
- Liferaft and lifejacket drills and procedures
- EPIRBS & pyrotechnics
- Basic sea survival drills & rescue procedures
Certification: Barron International will issue Certificate of Training in Helicopter Underwater Egress Training for successful participants (valid for 4 years)
Duration: 1 day
Method of Training: Combined theory and practical completed with assessment
Maximum participants: 16 persons
