Purpose: This course is design to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to function effectively and safely as Helicopter Landing Officer on offshore installations in accordance with current industry standards.
Pre-requisite: There are no pre-requisite for this course Course Content:
- Responsibilities of helicopter landing officer
- Helideck regulations
- Aircraft emergency
- Ditching procedures and drills
- Liferaft and lifejacket drills and procedures
- EPIRBS & pyrotechnics
- Basic sea survival drills & rescue procedures
Certification: Barron International will issue Certificate of Training in Helicopter Underwater Escape Training for successful participants (valid for 3 years)
Duration: 1 day
Method of Training: Combined theory and practical completed with assessment
Maximum participants: 16 persons
