Purpose: This course is designed to provide participants with the sound understanding and knowledge required to enable them to operate a fork lift truck safely.
Pre requisites: There are no pre requisites for this course. However, previous experience in operating forklifts will be beneficial.
Course Content:
- Legislation in the work place
- Plan work – lift, stability attachments, procedures, workplace hazards, and priorities
- Lift truck operations – pre-operation checks, data plate interpretation, operating procedures, shift loads
- Practical training – operate industrial lift – truck after conducting pre-operation checks, shift various loads, and perform self stacking at different heights and load/unload truck, shut down/post operational checks, parking
Certification: Barron International will issue Certificate of Training in Forklift Driving Safety and Operation for successful participants
Duration: 2 days
Method of Training: Training will be carried out in accordance with the code of practice for forklift operation, performance and written assessments.
Maximum Participants: 8 persons
